On Saturday, Immigration Clinic Director Stacy Kern-Scheerer and Fellow Nicole Alanko tabled at the Community Wellness Fair in Williamsburg. The Fair was sponsored by Olde Towne Medical and Dental Center, the James City County Department of Social Services, and The Maximized Life. The Clinic participated alongside other community-based organizations, including Literacy for Life, Colonial Behavioral Health, W-JCC Schools, and the Williamsburg Regional Library. Professor Kern-Scheerer and Nicole had the opportunity to share about the Clinic’s work with local partners and answer community members’ questions.
“It was great to see such amazing turnout for the event,” said Professor Kern-Scheerer. “It truly takes a village to do the work that we do. We are so grateful for the chance to meet members of our community and collaborate with our partners across the region.”
Special thanks to the James City County Department of Social Services for inviting the Clinic to participate.
