Immigration Clinic Director Speaks with Virginia Public Media about the Afghan Refugee Crisis

William & Mary Law School Immigration Clinic Director Stacy Kern-Scheerer spoke with Patrick Larsen of Virginia Public Media about the Afghan Refugee Crisis. Stacy emphasized the importance of having access to an attorney to help Afghans once they arrive in the United States. 

“In this particular circumstance, it’s complexity on top of crisis,” Stacy said, referring to the difficulty of applying for legal status in the United States.
